Waverley Borough Council has been working to produce a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for Dunsfold Park Garden Village which if adopted, would lock in a strategic framework for building houses on the site, which was allocated in the borough’s Local Plan Part 1.

The new document will provide all parties with clear guidance on what the council expects from any new settlement at Dunsfold Park. The SPD includes a strategic overview or ‘masterplan’ of everything the site should contain and a detailed design code. This guidance is intended to supplement and add detail to the site allocation policies in Local Plan Part 1.

The SPD would become a material planning consideration when determining any future planning applications submitted by a new owner of the site.

The draft SPD document is now available for consultation and comments from the community are requested. Over the next few pages you will be asked for various information. Firstly, you will be asked to complete some details about yourself so that we are able to verify your response. This information will only be visible to the Planning Policy staff and will not be passed onto third parties.

The consultation opens on Monday 22 November 2021 and closes on Monday 20 December 2021.
